Invite, link, and manage manager permissions

Use this when an owner wants to add a manager, reuse an existing manager account, or update workspace permissions immediately.

This article explains how owners add managers, link existing manager accounts, and keep manager permissions synced to the owner workspace in real time.

When to use it

Use this when an owner wants to invite a new manager, reuse an existing manager login for another property owner, or update what the manager can see and do.

How to do it

  1. Open the owner workspace and go to Users or Agents / Managers.
  2. Choose Invite / Link Manager and enter the manager name, email, and workspace permissions.
  3. If the email already belongs to an existing manager account, the system links the new assignment instead of creating another login.
  4. If the owner edits permissions later, save the changes on the assignment and let the manager refresh the dashboard when prompted.
  5. Use the manager dashboard to confirm the visible modules and property access match the selected permissions.

What success looks like

The manager keeps one login, sees only the modules the owner allowed, and receives updated access immediately when permissions change.

What to do if something goes wrong

  • If a manager cannot see a module, confirm the assignment permissions include that module and that the assignment is active.
  • If the same email was used before, reuse the existing manager account rather than creating a duplicate login.
  • If the dashboard looks stale after a permission change, refresh the page so the live sync can pick up the update.
